SST PGT

Role Overview

The SST (Social Science Teacher) will be responsible for developing students’ understanding of History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and Social Studies concepts in alignment with CBSE curriculum standards. The role involves encouraging analytical thinking, awareness of social and global issues, and active classroom participation among students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging SST lessons for TGT (Classes 6–10) and PGT (Classes 11–12).

  • Teach subjects including History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and related Social Science topics effectively.

  • Develop students’ critical thinking, analytical, and research skills.

  • Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessment materials.

  • Conduct regular tests, evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to students.

  • Use interactive teaching methods, discussions, case studies, maps, and presentations to enhance learning.

  • Encourage participation in quizzes, debates, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities related to Social Science.

  • Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.

  • Participate in academic planning, parent meetings, and school events.

  • Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and examination patterns.

Qualifications

  • TGT: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/History/Geography/Political Science/Economics + B.Ed (Mandatory)

  • PGT: Master’s Degree in History/Geography/Political Science/Economics/Social Science + B.Ed (Mandatory)

  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of CBSE curriculum.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • Ability to engage students through interactive and practical teaching methods.

  • Minimum 1 year teaching experience preferred.

Librarian

Role Overview

The Librarian will be responsible for managing the school library, promoting reading habits, and ensuring easy access to learning resources for students and staff. The role involves maintaining an organized, resourceful, and student-friendly library environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the school library, including cataloging and organizing books.
  • Issue and receive books while maintaining accurate records.
  • Guide students in selecting books and developing reading habits.
  • Maintain discipline and a quiet, productive library environment.
  • Update and manage digital and physical learning resources.
  • Assist teachers and students with research and reference materials.
  • Organize reading programs, book fairs, and literary activities.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and safety of library resources.
  • Keep track of inventory and recommend new books and materials.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or course in Library Management
  • Basic computer knowledge and library management systems.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Passion for reading and student engagement.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a school or library setup preferred.
