SST Teacher

Role Overview

The SST Teacher will be responsible for teaching Social Studies to middle and secondary classes, helping students understand history, geography, civics, and economics in an engaging and practical manner. The role focuses on building conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and awareness of social and global issues in alignment with CBSE curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
  • Teach subjects including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics for Classes 6th to 10th.
  • Use interactive teaching methods such as maps, case studies, storytelling, and real-life examples.
  • Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and project-based learning activities.
  • Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and awareness of current affairs.
  • Conduct assessments, tests, and evaluations to track student progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to improve student performance.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in school activities, academic planning, and co-curricular events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies / History / Geography / Political Science / Economics – Mandatory
  • B.Ed – Mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and Social Studies concepts.
  • Ability to make theoretical subjects interesting and relatable.
  • Good communication and classroom management skills.
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a school setup preferred.

Computer Teacher

Location: Amritsar, Punjab

Role Overview

The Computer Teacher will be responsible for introducing students to computer fundamentals, digital literacy, and basic programming concepts while ensuring alignment with modern education standards. The role involves practical lab-based teaching to build students’ technical confidence and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach computer fundamentals, operating systems, and digital literacy.

  • Introduce students to basic programming concepts and logical thinking.

  • Conduct practical computer lab sessions for hands-on learning.

  • Teach applications such as MS Office, presentations, spreadsheets, and internet research.

  • Ensure students understand safe and responsible use of technology.

  • Develop lesson plans, assignments, and project-based learning activities.

  • Maintain computer lab equipment and ensure proper functioning.

  • Encourage students to participate in technology-based competitions and projects.

  • Monitor and assess student progress through tests and assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA / MCA – Mandatory

  • B.Ed preferred

  • Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals, applications, and basic programming.

  • Familiarity with school-level computer curriculum.

  • Good communication and classroom management skills.

  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience preferred.
